Environmental Remediation Services, Inc. (ERS) has developed a successful program for identifying, transporting and recycling/disposing waste batteries. The types of batteries we are now handling are:

 Zinc Carbon

 Nickel Iron

 Nickel Cadmium

 Lithium

 Household

 Mercury

ERS' battery waste management system includes a complete inventory and segregation of the types of batteries. The waste batteries are shipped in DOT approved containers and are properly manifested in accordance with DOT and EPA regulations.

ERS then works with its clients to arrange a pre-scheduled collection process and to select one of several state-approved facilities for reclamation or disposal. This process provides for more cost-effective transportation charges.
